Join us for an exciting in-person event at Arizona State University (hosted by the School of Manufacturing Systems and Networks) in Tempe, AZ, USA! The OPEN INDUSTRIAL DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM SUMMIT brings together industry experts, innovators, and enthusiasts to explore the latest trends in digital manufacturing. Discover groundbreaking advancements in industrial ontologies and standards-based integration, network with like-minded individuals, and gain valuable insights from top-notch speakers from the Department of Homeland Security, Biopharmaceuticals, and Aerospace & Defense. This is your chance to be part of a vibrant community that is shaping the future of industrial digital manufacturing. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to expand your knowledge and make meaningful connections.

Industrial and manufacturing enterprises seek to employ artificial intelligence and digital twins in order to gain breakthroughs in productivity, agility, circularity, safety and quality. To do so, they need to transform their system into an interoperable digital ecosystem. But how can this best be accomplished and at what costs?

Ideally, information in the digital ecosystem of an industrial and manufacturing enterprise should be transparent and rapidly accessible from the shop floor to the top floor. Repeatable, scalable and sustainable data integration methods across hardware and software vendors are necessary to achieve all objectives both from the technical, business, and financial perspectives. Working with the user, developer, and research community, NIST and OAGi have been promoting the use of open data standards to enable such data integration methods. Recently, in addition to offering a standard for exchanging data between systems known as OAGIS, OAGi also offers an ontology/knowledge graph data standard to connect data into a digital thread. The OAGIS standard is now known as connectSpec, while the ontology-based standard is known as the IOF Ontologies. Over the past four years since the last summit, many progresses have been made to advance both of these standards and tools and methods around them.

Do you want to learn more about these advancements? While a lot of progresses have been made, we believe that they open up even more opportunities. We would like to invite you to not only learn about the progress but to also be part of this evolution in this industrial data integration.

Traditionally hosted at NIST, this year it is hosted by ASU. The Open Industrial Digital Ecosystems Summit brings together industry practitioners and thought leaders from OEMs, suppliers, standard development organizations, research institutes, and industry solution suppliers to learn and work together to advance the lifecycle management of standards-based digital ecosystems.
